Meet the Owner
Matt Dodd’s journey with McDonald’s began in 2003, when he joined the company as a 15-year-old crew member in Northern Kentucky. Over the next 13 years, Matt steadily advanced through the organization, taking on increasing leadership responsibilities that shaped his operational expertise and people-first leadership style.
After relocating to Louisville, Kentucky, Matt became Director of Operations for a prominent McDonald’s Owner Operator. In this role, he played a pivotal part in growing the organization from four to seventeen restaurants in just six years, driving operational excellence and sustainable expansion.
In October 2021, following nearly two decades of dedication to the McDonald’s brand, Matt was approved to become an Owner Operator. By December, SEEK Enterprises LLC was established with the acquisition of his first three restaurants in Louisville. Under Matt’s leadership, SEEK Enterprises experienced rapid growth, expanding from three to seventeen restaurants in just three years.
Matt’s commitment to integrity, leadership, and operational excellence has earned him multiple prestigious recognitions. In 2023, he received the Integrity Award at the National Field Office Meeting, honoring his dedication to ethical business practices. In 2024, Matt was awarded the Ronald Award—placing him among the top 1% of McDonald’s Owner Operators nationwide.
Beyond the restaurants, Matt is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He has served on the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Board and has been recognized twice by the Louisville City Council for his community contributions. In 2024, he was also named to Louisville’s 40 Under 40, recognizing his impact in both business leadership and community service.
